The recent announcement of the de-regulation of the telecom sector has caused ripples through the industry and a welcome development. It will be interesting to witness the resultant development in the sector and any time will tell whether this will be rolled out oto other sector.

The spate of development in the UAE is nothing short of extraordinary. The latest entrant is a technology park, Techno Park, Dubai. Their CEO, Abdulla Al Qureshi briefs us about the vision behind the establishment of the park in our guest column.

Think summer and you think cool and who better to tell us about cooling than Mr. Dany Safi, CEO, Tabreed, the pioneers in district cooling within the region. Mr. Safi shares his thoughts with us.
